Writing a Query for a film

Dear Mr Smith,

I have recently completed my first screenplay entitled Paranormal Activity. I finished my course in Screenwriting at London Metropolitan University and i was one of the five finalists in the Nicholl Fellowships in screenwriting.
I would like to ask if you would consider reading my latest work, Paranormal Activity.
The main plot consists on a couple who decides to film themselves while sleeping using a camcorder. All of this because the wife suspects she is being haunted by a spirit.
The entire film is shot with the camcorder used by this couple, so it will give the audience a better idea of realism of the entire plot. The film will not be expensive to shot because of the lack of post-production and special effects.
Paranormal Activity is a great thriller and suspense film with some parts that will remind you of the horror genre and i am sure people will find the concept both original and griping.
Think about the spanish film Rec to give you an idea about this concept.
